Donnie Ray Roberts, 1953–2024

Donnie Ray Rogers,born on September 1, 1953, in Matador, Texas, peacefully passed away March 15, 2024, at the age of 70. Donnie was the epitome of selflessness, known for his unwavering love and generosity. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and kindness.

Donnie was a devoted father to his two daughters, Natalie Groeger and Brooke Everard. His love for them knew no bounds, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was also a doting grandfather to three boys, Henry, Ezra, and Thomas, whom he adored beyond measure. His presence brought joy and warmth to their lives, and his memory will forever be cherished in their hearts.

Beyond his role as a loving father and grandfather, Donnie touched the lives of many with his giving nature. He had a heart of gold and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His kindness knew no bounds, and he left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Donnie Ray Rogers will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him dearly. A graveside service was held Wednesday March 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Flomot Cemetery under the direction of Zapata Funeral Home.
